| Tried the coupler.. haaate it... it's going back tomorrow. Mya is so curious and pulls so hard that poor Ollie was getting dragged and choked all over the place. We got 4 houses down and turned around to get the 2nd leash... muuuuuch better.. lol. Tangles a lot, but at least both dogs can explore and not get pulled all over the place - unless it's me doing the pulling, of course

| Love the coupler, keeps them from using me as a Maypole. Once in awhile, Baby needs to do business and Bug wants to keep exploring and drags her along at which point I just pick Bug up and hold him until Baby is done. Then set her back down and off we go. That is the only disadvantage and that is an easy solution that more than makes up for the positives of using the coupler. Bear and Baxter use single leashes, they don't walk squirrely.

My younger boy circles when he is excited, annoying the older one who sits nicely waiting for me to open the door. They drive like a perfect team of mules once we get out to the street, but I still don't think they are made for the coupler. Our short leashes probably help discourage tangling. | |
