| Spike has the Outward Hound seat, which works great for us. He is nice and safe, and it's easy to remove if someone else wants to ride shotgun! |

| I'm curious to see if you received your car seat. I'm torn between this one and the snoozer.

| Well unfortunately the seats in my car are shaped funny and the snoozer didn't sit correctly I'm really upset because it was so nice!! So now I'm getting the outward hound. Oh well... that's what I get for begging my parents for a sporty car! Make sure when measuring your seats that what your measuring isn't raised any!

| Anyone have any opinions on "the Perch?" (the half bench one) Snoozer Dog and Cat Beds, Lookout Perch Dog Car Booster Seat I'm debating between that one and this (for now): PetEdge: Lookout Oversized Car Seat For Pets

Which Snoozer? I saw and liked this one; http://www.snoozer-dog-beds.com/Pet%.../lkoutnice.jpg but it says for lying down pets up to 6lbs. Obviously Jackson is 16lbs so I guess he couldn't lay down comfortably? Which he likes to do. This one http://www.petedge.com/product/Looko...Pets/45113.uts seems he could lay down in!

| They're all just so darn expensive! Is there a particular site with the best deals? Amazon and ebay seem pretty much the same prices as the snoozer site. this one looks nice: http://www.snoozerpetproducts.com/la...eat-p-145.html It'd be big even for 16lb Jackson but it'd be nice for him to have the extra room, plus... what IF I add a second within the year (it's getting harder to resist, ya know) I'd like to be able to fit 2 just in *case*.

| We have 3 snoozer seats. I originally bought the small one when it was just Hot Rod. Then I got the console one from another yt member. Don't use this one too much. Then I found the medium size one at a consignment shop! LOVE all of them! I would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a carseat to keep there babies safe. I keep the smaller one in my car and we have the bigger one in hubbys truck as we would go further when we are all together. Then we grab it for the boat so they can look out the windows. Hot Rod does try to get out but I just tell him to get back into his pillow and he begrudgingly does. lol I am lucky as I can keep it in the front seat since the airbag is off.

| Our first ride did not work at all. Cooper has a harness with a D ring. But the D ring is attached to a long belt which is attached to the harness. The car seat also comes with a belt that attaches to the D ring. There was way too much leeway for him and he was crazy. I can't shorten the harness belt. I suppose I have to purchase a harness that has a D ring attached right to it without a belt.
