				 | I use it and highly recommend it! I use the gel because I find it easier to put on.

				 | I use like a pea size about and I put it on every 3 days, however, this is for maintenance... I believe the bottle says you should use it every day for the first 30 days if you are trying to get tartar off that has already built up.

You have to use it several times a day to remove tartar, I think I would try it for a month and see what the vet says. Remember, you don't want to brush with it you, put it on the teeth 30 minutes after a meal, and don't let them eat or drink anything for 30 minutes. I also brush, and use bully sticks, and I think they help scrape off the softened tartar.

Thanks for telling me about them selling it at Petsmart, I had to order mine online last time. Also don't overlook Bully Sticks for helping to scrape that tartar away.

| I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | I use the Merrick brand I order them off of Ebay, they're more expensive than some, but very hard, and it takes Joey a whole week to go through one. I think the softer ones don't do as much scraping, but are more of a chewing treat. The hard ones are a lot like a bone, but they are safer than bones.
