| I use it and highly recommend it! I use the gel because I find it easier to put on.

| I use like a pea size about and I put it on every 3 days, however, this is for maintenance... I believe the bottle says you should use it every day for the first 30 days if you are trying to get tartar off that has already built up.

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | I use it too, and so far so good. I like the spray better, but most people seem to prefer the gel. The spray just goes on so easily. You have to use it several times a day to remove tartar, I think I would try it for a month and see what the vet says. Remember, you don't want to brush with it you, put it on the teeth 30 minutes after a meal, and don't let them eat or drink anything for 30 minutes. I also brush, and use bully sticks, and I think they help scrape off the softened tartar.

Thanks for telling me about them selling it at Petsmart, I had to order mine online last time. Also don't overlook Bully Sticks for helping to scrape that tartar away.

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | I use the Merrick brand I order them off of Ebay, they're more expensive than some, but very hard, and it takes Joey a whole week to go through one. I think the softer ones don't do as much scraping, but are more of a chewing treat. The hard ones are a lot like a bone, but they are safer than bones.
