| My review of odor/stain removers I had a horrible pee pee smell in my house because my sweet old lady cat was getting confused about where the litter box was. ( She was 18 years old when I let her go last month) I used a black light to locate all the soiled areas (and there were a lot of 'em)on the carpet and outlined the spots with chalk. I first tried natures Miracle on the stinky spots. Didn't work for me. Then I heard about Odor Mute. I used it according to the directions and...ugh, it didn't work either. I then went back to all the spots and thoroughly soaked them with Simple Solution. I helped the drying process along with a fan, did the sniff test, and UREKA, it worked! I am sooo pleased! Simple Solution is actually the cheapest stain/odor remover stuff that I've found, too. I bought it at PetSmart or PetCo. So thats my review of those three products. Monique |

| I am so glad you found something that worked for you. Cat urine can be a real tough one also I have found.

| Simple Solutions for me too..... I have used everything too.. I once saw in a show" how clean is your house?" they had the same problem and they recommended using 1/4-1/2 cup of amonia plus 1 gallon of water... you mix it up get a sponge (use gloves) and tap at the area.... let it sit for awhile and then use a brush and start scrubbing.... then get a white cloth(trust me on this one) and damp it up..... remember to open all your windows or use a fan because it does stink... this does WONDERS!! Good Luck everyone!! hope it works for you too! |

| Instead of chalk, you could also just put a penny where the spot is and then come back to check it after it's dry. |
