| LOL! I also bought a large Kwigy-bo. I have to say that I thought I was crazy for buying that, but it was the best money I ever spent. I LOVE it and so do the furbabies.

| Yes is def is still quite pricey, but much better than $65! So if you think about it, $40, that's $10 per paw! also the materials they use are equal to the materials used in high performance running shoes, and the insoles are memory foam. The uppers are real suede. The reason i bought this brand was b/c I needed to protect Uni's back feet. she pulls so hard on her leash that she made her nails bleed. So I need something that is quality and that will last a long time. Granted, that I don't lose one.

| Shaunna & Capt....do Missy and Uni actually wear them and walk in them without fussing? I am concerned about salt in our neighborhood. They sprinkle so much of it everywhere. Have the pups ever tripped? Also, how do you put them on, do they open fully to easily apply to the paw or do you have to stick the paw into the top?? Thanks babes- Snick & Viv

| I have only put the back ones on Uni, b/c that's where her problem is. Yes there is a difference between the backs and fronts. That's another reason why I liked these. You zip it down, stick the paw in, move the hair out of the way and zip up. There is elastic on the back around the ankle/achilles tendon is. It will take a bit of training for them to get used to it. What i did was as soon as I put them on, I got out the toys and have her walk around with me and give treats. She soon forgot about them.

YT 500 Club Member | To the OP, what size are your dog's paws? I just bought Meg a pair of booties that are TINY TINY TINY. She won't wear them though. She keeps kicking up the leg that has a bootie on... too funny for me to watch but I'm sure uncomfortable for her. I'll have to measure the booties when I get home and take a picture. Maybe they would work for your babe. They have a zipper in the back and a zelcro piece that goes around the top of the boot to snug it up.

| This is a video of Missy's first time wearing them, and she had never worn shoes before. The Epiks are really awesome. They are shaped perfectly to fit their foot, so they get use to them much easier. They are easy to get on, just put them on and zip them up. I've never had one fall off of her. They stay put. You really do get what you pay for when it comes to these dog boots. There are two "front" boots, and two "rear" boots in the set. I really like Epiks because they are so functionable, but very cute at the same time.

| I think the glove idea that was suggested is a really good one for the tiny dogs! Especially if they are puppies. Lowes, Home Depot, and other big box hardware stores will have a good selection of leather or other material gloves, that would keep their paws nice and dry. Two pairs of gloves should provide 4 thumbs and of course other fingers that might fit back feet or front feet better! Some gloves have the little dots of rubber on them that would also help to make for better footing. I would suggest velcro straps to wrap around to keep them on, especially for really wet, icey and snowy weather. Of course these would be for back yard times when they go out to do their business not for a walk at the mall or dog mart appearances when that calls for more fashonable wear |
