He will love it!! I was worried about Peanut not liking it too bc he is use to being free in the car ( on my lap) it took P like a week to lay down LoL. So give it time, just make him stay put and in time he will love it!!

Do you keep the seat in the passenger seat or in the back? I'm trying to decide where it would be best to put him...

Oh Geez that took me like 3 days to decide!! I wanted him up front with me.. but I thought the back would be the safest! So I put him in back behind my seat!! I thought of putting him in the middle.. but then he cant look out of the window and sniff the air haha!! The back works the best I think!! And I always have my visor down so I can look in my mirrior to check on him!!

I'm so glad I saw these posts. It will be a little while before I can afford to get one but I would've been asking these same questions.

You will have to post some pics of him in it. I think they only offer size small for the console one. I talked to another YTer and they said that the small worked for them, but there wasn't much room to move around.

I got the large car seat for my two pups and they love it. I have a small car and wouldn't be able to fit the console one.

OK, so... took our first ride with it. I'm a little iffy... I don't dislike it but I wasn't like "OMG, this is so great!" I think because Jackson's a bigger boy at 13lbs, it *may* not work right for us. Don't get me wrong, he laid comfortably in it and was able to stick his head out the window still, which is what I wanted. What I don't like... is how long the attachments are (the thing that attaches to his harness). When it was his first time in it, he was unsure obviously, as he's used to being able to roam freely. And he jumped off the console like he would to get into the backseat (where he typically stays) and was like in the backseat... but still attached to the pet seat in the front, LOL. If you know what I mean. We tried it in the backseat, too, and he hopped out of the seat at first and his back legs remained in the car seat and his front legs were out of it, hahaha! He's long enough to do that. After about 10 minutes, he did good though and even layed down in the seat, and was fine. But hmmm... I'm gonna make my decision if I'm going to keep it or not tomorrow. If not, I'm going to sell it on here or eBay if anybody wants it!

Tie a knot in the leash thingy to try to make it so he cant jump out.. thats what I did!!

This is soooo cool. I am new to yorkies...better yet, dogs. But today as I was driving to the park, Coco was peeping over the window. She is 11lbs and I would love to get her one of these. See I plan to drive to different parks in the city depending on size so we can figure out which we like. She is also car sick, so I have to wait like 1-2hrs after she eats to put her in the car. The one posted from ebay...does someone have a picture of how to put her in it?

We have this seat in large for Couver. He is only 7 pounds, so two of him could easily fit in the seat. I tied a knot in the strap because when I had to stop quickly once, he fell out of the front of it and was hanging by his harness

I really like the seat, it has two straps and will work when I get another pup in a year or so. I put a blanket in it to make it more comfy. I got the grey to match my car interior.

i too have been looking at the console booster seats on overstock.com. they do make a medium, and even a large size. the medium is around 55 bucks. here's a link:
