| ABC Distributing... What the #*&* What the $%#@ So I go to the ABC Distributing site and put a few items in my cart. Then I decide I need to find out shipping to see if it's worth it. There is no shipping page so I figure it will be like other order sites where you put the stuff in cart and then you put in the address and then they tell youwhat it will cost with shipping. So i fill out the info page and click NEXT thinking it will take me to a total page where I say yes or no . I also figured it couldn't possibly be bad because I hadn't had to give any credit card info. yet. Well I typed in adress and name and stuff and then pressed next. So the page clicks and it says thanks for the order and gives me a confirmation number and says it will be shipped. WHAT . So then I go back and read all this fine print and it is telling me that the money will be expected when stuff arrives and if I don't send it then blah blah blah and fines and fees and whatnot. Not to mention I STILL have no idea about shipping because it only states that additional to the total they will ad shipping and handleing fees along with taxes What the %^$# kind of business scam is this! You put no credit info in and you get charged without even getting a final total plus not a clue you are even agreeing to buy anything until they tell you it is done even though they don't tell you how much it will all cost. JUST WANTED TO LET PEOPLE KNOW OUT THERE SO NO ONE ELSE IS TAKEN BUY SURPRISE BY THE ONLINE FORM!!!!!!!!

| Oh my!! I am really sorry about that.. That is horrible.. Do they have a number you can call? Or at least maybe a place where you can email them? I would be upset too. |

| That happened to me too! I accidentally ordered a stroller that way and I never knew the shipping until I got the stroller! The shipping wasn't unreasonable (8.00) I did the same thing at my house looking at the DSL service on the phone company's website! I just wanted information and next thing I know it was thanking me for my order! Grrrr.... |

| yes they have , but I'm figuring why bother. i'm feeling with a set-up such as there's it would be usless and frustrating. I also figure it will get sent anyway and then i will have all these non- payment fees building up ruining my credit. I'm so TICKED. Just typed in name and address and pushed next and whammo, iIm being charged upon delivery with gosh knows how many extra fees. No credit info or total page with final total to ok or anything!

| Calm down everyone, it is not a scam, the shipping info is on a page labeled as FAQ.... they can tell you your total amt if you call their Cust. Serv. you can even decide if you want to remove stuff and they will do so.... Also it is cheaper to ship to business address vs. Residential... I have ordered from here before so I know a bit.. Hope this helps!! |

Im so sorry you had a bad order with them. I have ordered from them before at my old job so I new they billed you later but I had never tried to order online, you'd think it would say something. But just so you know- sometimes they are expensive for shipping. From my own experiences- aLot of the time they didnt have everything in stock so they mail everthing by itself and they charge you for individual postage on each box they send out which can be ridiculous to pay $8 shipping on a $4 candle holder. Sometimes it was worth it ordering from them and sometimes it really wasnt. Not to mention sometimes it took months for the items to come. You may want to try to cancel your order.

| If this helps at all, they have good customer service. It is not a scam and the shipping is very reasonable. Don't worry, you will like the stuff and if you don't you can call customer service and cancel. Their stuff has ALWAYS come within 3 days of my ordering them. I've never had a problem with them.

| Well I still think it's a %$#$@ service no matter what the shipping charge. And I also don't care if I CAN call them afterwards and decide if the charge is OK. I shouldn't have to buy things that way and I personally find the whole thing WRONG

| I think if I remember correctly the whole reason they do it thay way is because they sell so many products that they often sell out of items so they dont want to charge yolu for items they may not have. Basically they will send you the items that are in stock and only bill you for those items. Still not the most convient for the customers since it more like a game- a months later you get to see what item you have puchased will actually come. BUt they really do have cheap prices. When I order from there I always mentally add $5 to the item(more if its furniture or large) I am interested in and then ask myself if I want it for that price becuase there is the chance it will ship seperate and cost me at least $5 more. Plus I never get my hopes up about the item actually coming.

| Well, that sounds horrible to me.. If you order something then you should get it for one. and for another, they should let you know that they will need to reorder an item in order for you to have it. Also I think its awful that you wait for months at times and then your still not sure if you have got all you ordered. Sounds wrong to me!! Not a business I would want to deal with. I like things upfront.. nothing hidden and no guesswork. But thats just me.. |

| yeah and don't you love the thing about how if they are out of an advertised item(even if the website didn't say so), that you have to pay a second delivery charge. Now at first glance might seem ok but shipping charges go by weight and destination and the more you have in weight, the less each pound it is. Plus you get charge a set fee from the begining for postal delivery and the weight is extra.
