| They are. It's basically just a tendon, though.

| My little girl LOVES himalayan chews! She has only had bully sticks before so she was a little skeptical about them but now she'll leave a bully stick lay is she has one of these around. They are a little more pricey than the bully sticks I buy ( I get the bully sticks off the westbrookdog site) and I buy the himalayan chews from an awesome all natural dog supply store in my town. My only problem with them, and it may just be my odd little Emma's chewing, but they seem to get flakey when she's chewing and there's little flakes of stinky cheese on the floor! lol |

| I ordered two small pkgs of the Himalayan chews for my girls and one antler to try out. I have been looking for something for my girls to chew on that would last longer than bully sticks and be good for them too. Thanks for the post. |

One pack of Himalayans lasted me about two weeks. I've already ordered another two.

| how small are the Himalayan dog chews? I am thinking of getting a medium size the smallest size looks really short. It looks like they would be able to swallow them whole. Polo normally chews a six inch bully stick. I tried the Antlerz and Polo liked it for 2 days and now he won't touch it ![]() I am thinking he would like the Himalayan dog chews better Last edited by polomysweetpup; 10-10-2009 at 04:42 PM. |

The Chews are like a rock, so I would think with a dog that loves Bully Sticks and Chews, the Chews would last longer. It's hard for me to tell, though, because Addie really really loves the Chews and doesn't care much for the Bully Sticks. Addie will nibble on the chew for hours, but she'll only touch the Bully Sticks for ten minutes and then get bored. But she still manages to go through Bully Sticks pretty quickly.
