| What is the best brush to use? I am going to keep my Yorkie short-haired and I was wondering what the best brush to use was? I read that a wire pin brush without ball tips is best, but I am having trouble finding one. Any suggestions? |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | I love the Chris Christensen pin brushes. They are a bit pricey but well worth the money. The pins to not scratch their skin.

| I haven't started using my brush yet ( I bring my Yorkie home next week) but I went ahead and bought a Madan brush. I searched the forum here and found some old posts about brushes and alot of people like the Madan brushes. I bought mine from a user on here, mimimomo, she was very professional and nice and my brush arrived quickly! |

| Giving another to minimomo who sells the Madan Brush. Igot the blue one, the softest and it works very well, does not hurt their delicate skin and really helps taking out a mat. Her service was excellent too!

| Well....I'll just come out and admit that I'm a cheapskate!! If I can get something inexpensive, that's what I try to do. So, for Chloe's brush I use a flea comb made for cats from Wal-Mart. My vet showed me the comb that she used and said she got it from Wal-Mart, but I couldn't find one small enough. So I glanced through the cat aisle and found this: Walmart.com: Jointed Culture Resources: Mini Flea Comb Ergonomic Grooming Tool, 1 ct: Dogs. It has done amazing things for Chloe's fur. It doesn't seem to hurt her as she comes right to me when she sees it and the mats just seem to fall out. Also, since it is small, it is easier to get in those hard to reach places! I think it cost me like $1.94 or something. -C
