| Has anyone use dog litter tray? I used to be able to take my Yorkies to work with me and one day the building manager didn't want any dogs in the building anymore so I had to leave my dogs at home. My office is about 45 minutes away so I can't drive home during time. So I wondered what others do with their potty situation? So far Second Nature seems to work but the little one (6 months old) like to play with it. Last edited by krazy4pets; 06-03-2009 at 01:51 PM. |

| I use a litter box with Willow my 5 month old she does good with it. I just bought a rubbermaid storage container that fits under the bed and the dog litter from Petco. Its the same stuff they have in the ferret and guinea pig cages in the store. She did really good at first was completly house broke in about 1 month time. I keep her in her room a big walk in closet during the day while we are gone but when we are home she has free run. She didnt have an accident for like 3 weeks then we took her one weekend to our lake house where I set up a litter box also. When we got home it was like she had never used a litter box before she went all over the house. That has been about 2 months ago and she is just now gettin back into the routine of using it when she is out of her room. When she is in her room she always uses it. She still has poop accidents soemtiems but never pee puddles anymore. Good luck. |

| I use pee pads with the pad holder, it works great for us. I would be careful if using the dog litter because your lil one may try and eat it and thats not good for them.

| I use a weewee pad as a tray liner and put the litter stuff on the top. It's easier to clean because I can just lift the whole things up. The 3 years old is doing fine with the tray but if he does his business after I leave the house, he doesn't like to use the tray again until I come back and clean it up in the evening. The 6 months is getting better for not chewing those pallets but on a bad day he will trash both weewee pad and those pallets in his litter tray. |
