I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | Sounds like you bought the large bottle, I did too, and I still have 80% left after two years. I used it more when Joey was a puppy, he tangled more than. It has really been a lifesaver for periods when he's worn clothing and the hair on his chest and underarms were tangled. I just put it on before his bath, and the tangles come right out without causing pain. I like to use it before the bath, rather than after because he's a silky coat, and he doesn't really need it after the bath. I use a cream rinse made for dogs, and it doesn't leave him looking greasy. For cotton-coated dogs, it's really great after the bath as well.

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | I bought mine on e-bay. It's made for horses, and I'm told you can buy it at most horse places, or I guess they're called tack shops? Remember to get the "detangler" the shampoos, and conditioners haven't been as highly rated.

| I use it on my horses, it's great stuff!!! When Ranger still had his puppy coat he matted horribly. I had to use it before every bath to get those deeper tangles out that I couldn't comb it. It is very heavy and I prefer to wash it right out after it does its job Now that both boys have nice, silk adult coats, I think the CC Ice on Ice is better as it isn't heavy and doesn't leave a film. If you don't like it PM me and I will buy it for my horses!

| $29 for the 16 oz bottle is a little high. Shouldn't cost more than $20. You can get a little tube of it for around $10. But the 16 oz bottle will last forever. I don't use mine anymore. It was great for puppy hair matts but it just makes Ben's thin, silky hair look greasy now. You can dilute it with water and make a grooming spray with it too. I did not care for the shampoo but it too seems to last forever. I bought mine at a hardware store in our small town that has a little bit of everything and a decent size pet department. Here is a link to their store locator: Cowboy Magic
