| Looking for a walk thru gate for 7 ft opening Hi We are looking for a gate for our new yorkie. She is 3.5 pounds and can fit thru very small spaces! We need to close off a 7 foot opening for the times when we're not home. I have spent hours looking for a gate this size but the all have 3 inch openings between the slats. I would love to find a plastic lattice but none of the ones I have seen go to 7 ft wide. Any help would be appreciated!!!! Thanks!! |

| We have this plastic kennel. It has six panels and each one can be opened or separated... PetYard Containment Pen: North States Pet Yard XT, Pet Play Yards at PETCO I'm sure you can use it as a walk through too... |

| Wow, a 7 foot opening is going to be tough, I've had trouble finding something suitable for a 58 inch span we have. Same issue as you...everything has 3 inches of space between the bars and I think Maggie could get through that. Good Luck!

| I got an expandable from pet co to cover the opening it did ot have a walk through but it attached to the wall and I was able to push it back or just walk over it. When Milo was little i had a small piece of screening on it so he could not get through |

I have this one and u can get it as wide as u need with extentions..I had a 17 ftopening...I don't remember how wide the slates were...I check...But I don't use the big section anylonger...I broke it down to several gates with all the extentions I have...It came in handy when mine were young.. It is sort of pricy but it will last a life time.. I have them on my front porches now so my lil ones has to wait on me ... But u can find some used ones on ebay... Sheila | |

| Would this one be safe? Thank you everyone for your kind responses! We are now considering a different room for our pup--which would be about a 48 inch opening. For experienced yorkie owners--would this one be dog-proof? Would we have to worry about her chewing the netting? I suppose we could spray it with bitter apple to help avoid this...
