Ok, I finally placed my order for the bowl today b/c I was trying to decide whether to purchase Angel Eyes. I placed the order for both, I can't wait to try it out.

I finally received the bowl and my little furbabies have been using it over the last week. The bowl is very well made and of very good quality. However, my only issue is that the bowl is really BIG. I wish they made it in a smaller size, since my furbabies are both pretty small - one weighs 4.5 lbs and the other weighs 2.5 lbs. I think these bowls would be perfect for furbabies that are bigger in size.

The bowl measurements: Inside diameter 6.5" (16 cm) x height 3" (7.5 cm). The outside diameter is about 8". When I measured the circumference of the bowl it's 27".

I bought the bowl from absolutelypets.com for $16.50 + shipping.

I guess this is why people think our babies are so "spoiled"!! Prince has his perferences also, lol. Yorkies are so much like skin children!!! That's why I love them. (Prince drinks out of stainless steel, also).
You know, I wonder if we could make something, with the same concept, using the stainless steel bowls. I wonder if there were an insert that would serve the same purpose...just a thought.

I want to buy this bowl but is there like a cheaper site. Its so pretty and Mimi is a sloppy drinker so it wo uld be perfect!

Have you tried to fill the flotation device so that it sinks down further into the water? That is what I had to do, but then as she got used to it, I just let some of the water out so that the drinking area was a bit more shallow, thus preventing wet beard.
