| I'm new to this forum. Help please Hi, my yorkie's name is Sasha and she is about 3 1/2 months old. What's the best way to keep her hair silky and shiny? She has beautiful hair but I don't want it to get messed up. Also, please tell me what products are good for the hair? I live in the USA |

| Welcome to YT! Can't wait to see pictures of your Sasha. I recommend a good detangler. I love Buddy Splash from Cloud Star - it is filled with natural herbs & oils and works wonderfully & smells great. My favorite scent is their original, the Lavender & Mint. This is the company website www.cloudstar.com -- but you may be able to find it in a pet store or at a vet near you. I also like their shampoo & conditioner - Buddy Wash. You need a good pin brush - it is really worth the money to buy a good brush - it is much better on their hair - won't break it and will work better on the tangles. A good comb too. I like the Chris Christensen 20 mm gold pin brush Pin Brushes Feeding a high quality food is also important. I also use Missing Link as a supplement. Some people use Salmon oil. Missing Link has the salmon in it & more

| I use Minksheen shampoo and pantene conditioner. For a detanger I use chris Christensens Ice on Ice. I also give a fish oil suppliment, Dream coat and sometimes when I want extra shine to their coat I use Plush Puppy Seabreeze oil

| WELCOME TO You and Sasha! The best way to get a fantastic coat is from the inside out. Feed a good quality food (personally I think homecooking and a homemade supplement is the best option). I LOVE Minksheen products. One of our members has just started carrying it or you can order it directly from the Minksheen site and take advantage of their sale: Miscellaneous Products - enter coupon code AC9 |

| Yorkiesmiles is right, a good pin brush is needed. Also, I personaly use Royal Treatment Italian pet spa shampoo and conditioner products. My Zoe loves the jasmine & bergamont sent . There are a lot of really good shampoo/conditioner/detanglers out there...I think it comes down to a matter of preference. |

| I use Minksheen shampoo and Chris Christenson's Ice on Ice for conditioner/detangler. I have the CC 20mm gold pin brush, the CC #006 buttercomb and the CC fine rat tail comb. I agree with others who've said that the healthy coat needs to start with their diet. What are you feeding?
