I Love My Lil' Punkin's Donating Member | Earthbath Oatmeal & Aloe Shampoo Reviews? If anyone uses (or has used) this shampoo and has any reviews on it, I would really appreciate hearing them I normally always use Doc Ackerman's Natural Colloidal Oatmeal Shampoo, however, it has to be ordered online and I don't know how, but I totally forgot that I was so low on it and I finished up the bottle a few days ago when I gave the kiddos a bath. So, the other day when I was in Petsmart I saw the Earthbath Oatmeal & Aloe Shampoo and grabbed it because it was the very last bottle left (of this particular formula, that is). I know the Earthbath shampoo is a good product, with good ingredients - but has anyone used the Oatmeal & Aloe one on their baby with dry, itchy skin and/or allergies? Tatum is the main reason I buy the Oatmeal shampoo's - because of her allergies and because her skin is normally dry and she is itchy. Anyway - this shampoo was about $14 bucks so I just want to make sure it's good lol The other shampoo that I order online is wonderful and I love it, but I needed something NOW so that is why I decided to pick this up Any reviews are greatly appreciated!

I think the Earthbath made her smell fairly good but didn't make her coat too soft. I've only used it once though, so I'm not sure about long term effects. You can always return it though if your not happy with it. I hope it works for you! Question for you do you dilute the D.A and do you keep it on them for the recommended time (5 or so minutes)?

| I used the Earthbath , the puppy bath mostly. It was nice at first but I felt it didn't do anything for Chloe's coat , it even seemed a little bit drying after a while. I never used the Oatmeal but haven't really been impressed with the others in the line . Its not bad , but nothing outstanding IMO. The Oatmeal may be better though.

Oh and P.S. - I do not dilute the Doc Ackerman's at all and I always, ALWAYS leave it on them for no less than 5 minutes Actually - I wash them ("massage" them rather ) with the shampoo for 5 minutes straight, and then afterwards I let it sit on them for 5 minutes - then rinse

My little Shadow Donating YT Member | I bought the earthbath spray. You can use between baths & it conditions with oatmeal, aloe, & vit E. I really don't like the smell though. I also wanted to order MinkSheen.......so recently @Petsmart I purchased the Fresh n Clean shampoo/conditioner. It has oatmeal & baking soda with aloe. Love Love the smell & it's Great!!

| also we arent sure how much of kieles hair chewing was allergies because she also pulls hair out of the cat and mens beards and girls hair lol. so we think it might be a neurological thing . Its weird cuz she started doing it as soon as skoshi passed.

I too wish the Doc Ackerman's was sold in stores, it'd definitely help in your situation. I hate running out of things last minute. Thanks for answering my question. My baby HATES the bath, she'll do anything to escape so I lather her all up making sure to really get in the skin and then wrap her in a towel and wait five minutes. I wish she would cooperate more! Good luck with the Earthbath, but I'd suggest using a conditioner along with it if you know of one that's good for Tatum.

| I thought that with continuous use, oatmeal wasn't good because it dries their skin out even more . I was using an oatmeal shampoo & rinse on Lilly and I noticed she'd itch quite a bit still so I stopped. I need to try this shampoo & spray that the vet just got in but it's like... $50 , I think I'm going to anyway though. I can't remember who on here told me not to use oatmeal because it's drying.
