| To avoid your baby getting an upset tummy, you must change the food slowly and gradually. One teaspoon of the new stuff mixed in with the old stuff, the first day if all comes out ok, no diarrhea, then do 2 teaspoons of the new stuff and remove one teaspoon of the old stuff, and so on until you have her switched completely.

| I haven't use Cranberry fields Shamp/cond yet , I couldn't find it in any of the stores around here...but I have heard many good things about it and am looking forward to trying it . To the other poster..... As for switching foods...when switching from a low quality food to a high quality food be prepared for alot of loose stools and even some throwing up. I had my older dog Sydney on a low quality food ( Beneful ) and switched her and she had loose stools and upset tummy for two weeks ! So go SLOW !! I went to fast and had to just start over and will try again to take her off at a much slower pace ( she is 3 yrs. old , so her system was really in for a shock ) so just GO SLOW with the switch , and it should go better.

| i would like to try that cranberry fields shampoo, do they sell that in the pet stores or online? I just switched to natural balance food and she still seems to be scratching from time to time. I think her skin is very dry. I havn't tried the fish formula yet does anyone know if that is better for their skin? thanks Gracie |

| YT 500 Club Member | I'm a newbie Yorkie owner. Is it safe to use a high-quality organic moisturizing shampoo on my pup? I am very concerned about the health risks of laureth- and lauryl-sulfates. I don't use them on myself and won't use them on my dog! But do I need to order a special organic dog shampoo? I use Avalon Organics and Alba for myself. |
