| I LOVE Nature's Miracle. I used for my last dog and my Yorkie. The trick is to use a lot. With carpet if the urine has gone through to the carpet pad, you have to soak the carpet to get to the pad. With tile, the grout often absorbs the smell. Soaking the grout and tile and letting it sit for a few minutes does the trick. If that doesn't work try a little white vinegar and let it sit. I also use Nature's Miracle if the dog goes on clothing or bedding. I always spray clothing (as long as it's color safe as Nature's Miracle does have a alcohol in it) before washing. That way I can use hot water to sanitize and not worry about setting the ammonia from the urine. |

| I dryed up the area first, and then used a lot of it. It worked for me too

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | I too love Natures Miracle, but the urine may have soaked into the grout, is this ceramic tile with grout you are referring too? You are going to have to use a lot in the grout area, and maybe even repeat it. The enzymes in the product eat the protein that cause the dog to return to the same spot, but this takes time. You should probably have your grout resealed after a through cleaning because with sealed grout nothing can sink in. Unfortunately sealers wear down, and may need replacing yearly.

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | I didn't know that they made several kinds, make sure that the one you uses says, "contains enzymes." The kind I have smells good.

| I've always had great luck with Natures Miracle, but I've only used it on carpet. |

| I haven't tried the NM brand, however I have noticed a similiar problem. About 90% of our house is either hard wood or travertine (sp?) stone and I noticed that when I used the enzyme cleaner it seemed to attract Harley to go in the same spot again and again so now I only use it on the rare occasion that he has an accident on the carpet. I use Charlie's Soap which is an all natural all purpose cleaner and it seems to do the trick just fine! Jeri and Harley |
