| Living My Yorkie Dream Donating Member | I believe the tool everyone is seeing at BBB and Walgreens is the Pedi-Paws for 19.99, not the Pedicure. Just an FYI. I received my Pedicure via UPS last night....haven't used it yet; for now I'm just letting them sniff at it and check it out. I hope to have much success with it. I must say it is alot quieter than I thought it would be so I don't the the noise should be a problem. Time will tell.

| I love love love my Peticure! I had to get the Elite because of the girls, but it was so worth it! I have used it on Liberty, Lucy and Scooter, and then took it over and did my neighbor's dogs! I'm actually having fun with it...a little addicted I'd say! It's important to start the dogs off on the right paw with it, though. The op poster had it right. I did this: Grabbed some dog treat steaks and broke them into small pieces. Took the Peticure out and gave the dog treats while I let them look at it, sniff it and then touched their legs and feet with it while it was off. Then I turned it on and continued to give them treats while I let the Peticure run, and placed it on their shoulders to get them used to the noise and vibration. While giving them treats, I worked the Peticure down their legs to their paws, and held it to the paws for a few seconds while giving treats. Then, I picked up one paw and touched a nail to the Peticure, without actually trimming it. Just to let them feel the vibration on the nail, and gave a treat. Then I actually trimmed a nail. And gave a treat. I only had to do this for 2 days and now I can trim their nails any time with it and they do not mind at all! It is awesome! I love the Peticure elite because it has a hole opening for different sized nails, and a guard to keep the dog safe. It also catches the nail dust in the cap, and you take off the nail guard to empty it. I have used my filing band, the one it came with, on 5 dogs now. 4 of the dogs are 40-60 pounds, and only one is less than 10 pounds, and the band has been used a total of 18 times between all the dogs. I did buy the 20 replacement bands but I have not had to replace it yet. I absolutely love this!!!!!! |

| I got my tool about 2 weeks ago. I started using it immediatly. I really like it. It is so easy. The bigger girl doesn't mind it one bit. Just lays and my lap and lets me go at it. The little (much older) one whines, and wiggles, but she gets hers done anyway. She's always been that way with the clippers and everything. I haven't hurt one of them yet. I just do it a couple of times a week, and I just finally got their nails to where I'm happy with them, but I just did each nail for a few secs, then treat, and waited until the next day or so. I get it out and Elvira just jumps in my lap! It's like - okay, you want to do this, and I want a treat - let's do it - she's so funny. Worth every penny - and mine is the pedicure or peticure (40.00). Real pleased.

| Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | Hello Everyone, I have the Pedicure Tool. I love it. It is so fast and easy and my Baby is not so freaked out to cut her nails. I actually took the guard off of it because my Yorkie's nails are so small, and it was hard to fit her nails in it. You really don't need it. It is just like a Drummel Tool your man probably has already. It is made just like it. This tool is pretty quiet also, so your Pooch doesn't mind the noise. As everything, your Baby needs to get used to it, and so do you. This definitly beats the dreadful nail clippers. Try it, I think you will like it!!

| yOrkiesROck, I understand!i!!!! My yorkie is the same way... maybe a million times worst! His vet said to give him Benadryl to relax him. Have you ever heard of that??? Also, I heard Rescue Remedy is effective but I haven't been able to find it in stores, only online. There are other products like Rescue Remedy but I don't know how effective they are. I take mine to the vet, incase something goes wrong, but that is getting very expensive $35.00 for nail and pad trim)!!! Please post a reply if you hear of anything that works for nervous Yorkies.
