| Question on shampoo for Harley OK, I can't seem to find the right combination of answers for the questions I have. 1. Do all puppies have the same kind of coat? Harley seems to have a cottony coat. 2. Also, he has a few minute flakes on his back. Is this from him growing or could it be from his shampoo and rinse. I'm using the Buddy Wash and Rinse samples I ordered from Erin and I love it! Since he's a puppy (messy), I'm washing him once a week. He's not scratching like with an allergic reaction. So my question IS what shampoo should I use if he is flaking? I've made a list of shampoos that I've found interesting to try: Tropiclean Shea Pet Boigroom Cranberry Fields Earthbath Plush Puppies 3. Since these don't all have conditioners or rinses, what products do you suggest that wouldn't weight his coat down? Sorry I've made this so long! Thanks

Donating YT 500 Club Member | Puppies have a different coat than adult yorkies and they can be a challenge to groom with the puppy mats they get. The flaking may be something as simple as not getting the shampoo completely rinsed out or as complex as a skin allergy. You could try an oatmeal based shampoo, that can help alleviate the dry flaky skin.
