| ![]() Hi everyone!! I live in New York City and was wondering if anyone knew where I might be able to get a small pet sign for my door in case of an emergency to let firefighters, etc. know that I have an animal inside- I have a window decal but that really does me no good because the window is in the back of the apartment- if anyone has a good tip I would appreciate it- Thanks!!!! ![]() |

| ![]() To sign or not to sign.....well, my answer is not! Why because some weirdo would probably come along and decide he wants a dog....your dog....a small pet dog.....! As far as firemen are concerned, and God bless them, there are some that just don't give a hoot whether there is a dog or human....the kind that wouldn't risk their lives for anything or anyone. Why do I say that, because I had a fireman who did interior painting as a sideline and, coincidentally, the news was on tv and there was a fire where a citizen saved a dog by breaking a window. This half-wit fireman, when I asked, if he ever saved an animal said, "no way would I risk my life for an animal!" So there you have it! I would be more concerned of theft! Perhaps your neighbors would be able to help in the event, God forbid, such a thing would happen! The choice is yours! |

| ![]() I was thinking the same thing as the above poster. I would be concerned with everyone knowing that there is a small dog inside, but then I understand your concern...tough call.
