| I think instead of getting them from Firefish designs directly, she ordered through the retailer's link listed where they are being offered at quite a discount (from $75 down to $40) already: "Washable luxe-quality, faux fur pet bed for dog and cats." (The link doesn't seem to be working but it is in the post from cj125.

| Ok I have talked to her! My mom, FireFish, is going to offer the beds at 20% off suggested retail price to all YT members from now until June 15th. Normally, she doesn't offer those kinds of specials but I begged . ANYWAY, as soon as I get the paypal info I will post details on how to order. For now, here is what you need to decide on: There are TWO types of beds and 3 levels of furs. The two types of beds are the small, which is 15" and fits my 4lb yorkie with room to spare, and the 19" bed, which fits two small yorkies or one guy in the 7lb and up range. (That's MY guesstimate, though, so I'd measure your dog for best results). If you go to CuddleNest, there is a set of buttons on the left side of the page. Choose your preferred size to see the fur options. These are the most current furs, and she carries them all. Some retailers only choose to carry this color or that color... So, on the 15" fur option page, you can see that we have "Standard" furs, which are plain colors, Premium furs, which are faux animal prints, and black label furs, which are the most expensive/difficult to get and also are animal prints. The prices are: Standard fur, 15" bed- Retail: $42.00. YT Discount: $33.60 Premium fur, 15" bed- Retail: $45.00. YT Discount: $36 Black label fur, 15" bed- Retail: $55.00 YT Discount: $44 Standard fur, 19" bed- Retail: $58.00 YT Discount: $46.40 Premium fur, 19" bed- Retail: $60.00. YT Discount: $48 Black label fur, 19" bed- Retail: $70.00 YT Discount: $56 *** Ok, hope that helps. I'm off to grab dinner but I will check back on the thread and let you know about any questions. I suggest the ebony or chocolate if you're just not into buying a Premium one. My fave of the premiums are the snow owl... Hot hot hot! |

| yay! Thats a great deal!. My baby is 4.2 lbs. but she likes to lie with her feet stretched out. will the 15" one let her do that? and which is softer the chinchilla powder one or the sno owl?

| It's a 15" diameter, so it depends on how "leggy" your baby is. Roxy can stretch out in hers, which are all 15" and she's about that size. |

| Shipping varies from person to person. They're sent via USPS Priority Mail, and she only charges the exact price that she gets charged. Most places charge a blanket amount and keep the extra, but she doesn't. It's normally around $10 but never more than $15. |

| They're softer than faux furs you can buy at craft stores, but I'm not sure about Rabbit fur or how soft it is. This stuff is definitely smooth and soft, though. I'm trying to think of a good comparison, but the only real fur I've ever touched is raccoon, and this is softer than that. There's no waxy shiny finish on the fur, it's all fluffy and matte. |

| Oh, for the second part of the question, I think the snow owl is softer to the touch, but the powder chinchilla looks softer. |
