Reagan has the same problem with her face smelling. Someone said to make sure to wash her face after she ate but she only eats dry food and is really a neat(mainly due to her being somewhat picky) eater so I don't think this is the problem. Actually I know it isn't in my case. In my case everytime she goes outside she stuffs her face in the groud and rubs it in the dirt/grass. I'm pretty sure that's where our smells are coming from.

If you think it may be due to eating you can take a wet rag and wash the face area after he's done eating. Other than that I just make sure I really work the shampoo into Reagan's mousache(sp?), but she's over a year and has quite a bit of hair to work it into, I'm guessing your's is probably still pretty short. For the ears you can take a cotton ball and cut it into halves or fourths and stick them in the ears while washing, this may take a little while to get used to, Reagan didn't like it much at first and would keep on flinging them out, so you may want to keep a few handy and just keep sticking new dry ones in, after a few baths I'm guessing he would start getting used to it. When I rinse Reagan's head I will put my hand so that the palm faces her face and the skin between my thumb and finger is on her forehead above her eyes. Then take my fingers and hold one ear shut and use the thumb to hold the other shut. I also pull her head up (chin towards the ceiling like she's looking up) so that the water runs down her head to her back and it seems to keep it out of her eyes and ears. If that makes any sense. After you've had time to try a few things you'll find what works for you and what doesn't. Good luck...

I think maybe that is why she smells. She probably has dirt all over her face unless she's eating something from the floor.
