Damn that makes me mad. I can see you standing there pleading while the heartless a$$holes called the cops. I don't care what breed of dog it is, if it is your dog and it has done nothing wrong, and caused no harm...then I just don't get it. I also hope the other lady gets her yorkie back. | |

| Yes! My thoughts exactly. I mean, most people dedicate their lives to their pups as if they are their children. I always think that my pets ARE my children. You jump through all these hoops to have them vaccinated and legally licensed with your state and then when it comes down to it, they can just take your pet whenever they want?? Garbage! Well, best of luck to anyone having to deal with such horror! |

| What can we do to find an update on this? Im going to be worrying about this if I hear some kind of conclusion. I have to know if this humane society was reprimanded. It just worries me that a humane society can get away with this, because theres always a chance that my baby can get out and for whatever reason, not get there right away. Humane societies are supposed to be on your side and want to reunite owners with their lost companions. This just sounds like it goes against everything I thought humane societies were supposed to be.

| JessicaB I cant believ your story about your Stafford Shire Terrier. I read both yours and the yorkie story and I started to cry. That upsets me so much. I have a 65lb pitmix 40lb beaglemix and my 3lb yorkie Holly. My pitmix is on of the sweetest dogs and is very loving and caring with my little Holly. I didnt know states had laws about "bully breeds". My husband and I go on vacation once a year and his brother babysits my babies. I cant imagine what I would do if something happen to them while on vacation. My heart really goes out to what you went through. jody

| OMG..I would be beating someones A$$. Me and my husband would die for our furbabies. I had a yorkie as a little girl and my granmother let him out and he was runned over. Ever since that ive been paranoid about my babies surroundings. They have so many things on them that they jingle like old men in atlantic city casinos. You really have to have a reliable petsitter. the only person who watches my babies is my mother and since that happend to our old yorkie "Benji", my moms is Extremely vigilant. ive never even been on vacation since we've had our furbabies. They cant come with me then i dont go,. These little guys are just like real kids in my eyes. we live in new york and pets are lost and put to sleep so often its really sad. for the ladie who lost BABY , she should contact a pet attorney www.doglaw.com , Joel R. Zand, Esq. Good luck and hope BABY is well. |
