| ![]() DANVILLE — A Knox County-bred Yorkshire Terrier made its appearance on the red carpet Monday night at the Golden Globe Awards. June Bug is the small “tea cup” Yorkie purchased from Renotta and Kevin Oliver, Rabbit Ridge Road, by Ms. “Jake” Dennis this past weekend for the occasion. Dennis flew in from California to make the purchase and spent the night with the Olivers. Dennis told the Olivers she would be mentioning Renotta’s name and giving out the Oliver’s Web site (www.yorkiecity1.com) on the air, and that they could expect their e-mail to “load-up” and all the Yorkies they have available to be sold very quickly. As of Monday afternoon, the Olivers had 25 Yorkies on hand, including the adult ones. Dennis made her first appearance with June Bug on E! Entertainment at 1:15 p.m. EST Monday and the Oliver’s reported they had 249 hits on their Web site by 2 p.m. Dennis and June Bug were scheduled to be on Access Hollywood later Monday. “This is really exciting for me,” Renotta said Monday afternoon. http://www.mountvernonnews.com/local...17/yorkie.html |

| ![]() If you look at the dams if her stock, they are mostly 4 1/2 pounds and under. There is one less than 4 pounds that she breeds.

| ![]() Boy~ Glad to see this on there.~ There is no such thing as a teacup or a miniature yorkie in the AKC standards. There are just different weights.

That is what I was thinking! Now everyone is going to think that bitches should be under 5# in order to provide the visitor with "one just like I saw on TV." I don't think it was a good thing AT ALL to give the media attention to a breeder that believes in using bitches that small. UGHHHHHHH

| ![]() Read the part of the contract that deals with a genetic problem. I think it is so unfair of a breeder to insist on the pup be returned in order to be compensated. It is just plain heartless and unfair. The puppy may do well with medical care and the owner can have their companion for many years. If they want to keep the pup and treat it, then they should have the option....an ethical, fair minded, caring breeder would give the buyer the choice to return the pup for another or return their money to apply to the vet bill. You see, this is a sneaky way to keep the money and never have to make good an anything..few people return a much loved pet...and breeders count on it. |

| ![]() This is disturbing and exactly the kind of attention I don't want to see Yorkies have. Why oh why oh why couldn't this have been a reputable breeder??? UGH! ![]()

Donating YT 14K Club Member | ![]() hmmmm....those weights bother me. And, they have Teaspoon up for sale. Guess she grew larger than a teaspoon and that's why they don't want her anymore. How sad. ![]()

| ![]() I'm glad that I'm not the only one. It looks like a fun story at first, but then I visited the site. I just got a bad feeling and then to see little teaspoon for sale at the end. I wonder why? |
