| World Dog Awards!!! I stumbled on the First Annual World Dog Awards, on my ATT Uverse channel 5, KIAH!!! It is pretty cute....of course, Paris was there with her two poms, one average size, the other one itty bitty..... They have given an award to a therapy dog, they gave an award to the dog on Modern Family, they just gave an award to another TV sitcome star dog.....and now they are going to give the award for Best Extreme Sports Hot Dog !!! Lasts 2 hours!! |

| Our CW channel is showing it on DirecTV, Channel 33 in D/FW, Texas area but it's only got 26 minutes left. Thanks, Judy. Going to be looking for re-airings of this so I can watch the whole thing from the beginning!!!

| It was cute to see all the dogs...Paris Hilton was there with her meeley mouth and her two powder puff Poms....that last one she got for 13,000.00 per the host of the chow tonight, is indeed very, very tiny and actually may remain tiny! The Dog Ofthe Year Award went to the poor little homelwess, adandoned dog that stumbled into the Brewer's ball team club house....they cleaned the pup up and he is now the team Mascot! He is world reknown and has generated a ton of money to many rescue facilities all over the country. Southwest Airlines flew all the dogs out to the show.....it was cute and I liked looking at all the precious dogs! I had no idea what channel I was even looking at....my son said it is a local station.....I dont know! |

| Why don't you buy one so you can watch dog shows like this? There are lots of TV shows about dogs these days and even Dog TV now, a whole channel of just dogs.

| Oh please tell me about Dog TV, I have never ran across it. I had seen the award show a week or so ago and thought it was great, all except Paris Hilton. Why oh why would they breed a baby that small? It is so hard on those poor babies. |

| Sometimes I am tempted! Like when I hear about this great dog tv but beside the additional expense of a cable bill (or whatever the services are these days) and I am sure I do not need another bill, I don't imagine realistically that I would have either physical time- we run a pretty tight ship over here- or truly often even the mental capacity to enjoy it! Some nights I feel like I could relax and fold laundry and watch some show but often my brain is so full regulating life details, I can't imagine fitting anymore noises into it! That said- jeannie, I am depending on you and other yt'ers to jeep me up to date on the fun things coming up or that I missed, I always enjoy reading about it

Check out YouTube for all the dog and other free TV shows and movies you can watch there - or on your TV with Google Chromecast. Google Dog TV and go to their website and it explains their programming, how it appeals to dogs, etc. Google Google Chromecast and find out all about it. A TV need not involve a cable or satellite bill these days. Plus, if you want, you can buy individual movies online and play them on your TV if Google Chromecast works like it says it works.

| LOL. You're just going to have to get one, if nothing else to watch shows on the internet on rather than a tiny computer screen. I think most of the networks have their shows for viewing online and with Chromecast, you can put them on your TV, as I understand it. TV's are so big, flat, sharp in viewing quality, high color/contrast and cheap nowadays, buy yourself one and get Chromecast and sit back and watch things you'll love about dogs! Hook up a blu-ray high-def(and cheap!)DVD player and watch DVD's on your big screen, too. Lots of dogs movies and shows and series on DVD. If you can ever find Jack Perkins' series called "Dogs" - buy it. It's about 6 hours of the best look at the relationship between man and dog ever done at the time - which was in the early 90's. Fascinating series.
