| Gel Fire Pots are EXTREMELY DANGEROUS! This article is one of many reguarding the dangers of gel fire buring pots and candles. This was an incidence that hit a little too close to home for me as this one was my uncle who was severely burned by a gel burning fire pot at a party. | We had a church member die yesterday from severe burns from a candle. She had a candle burning in her bedroom and caught her nightgown on fire and then the mattress on the bed. She had 3rd degree burns on most of her body and never recovered conciousness in the hospital. Also had another lady die in a house fire from a candle in her bedroom. I no longer burn candles anymore. I hear the gel pots are a lot more flammable. Thanks for posting this, people need to be more aware of the dangers.

| basically that gel explodes and then sticks to their body and anything it touches and it's very hard to put the fire out. gel candles have been known to kill and burn down houses and these new gel refillable fire pots are way bigger and more dangerous than the small candles even were. |

| That's so scary & sad! When I was 13 or so my friend & I were using it to play with a Ouija board & it caught on fire & a piece of it broke off & landed on the board. Thank God my mom was around to throw it in the tub cuz we were freaking! My older sister also had one catch on fire & it burned her shelf, luckily nothing else.
