Truthfully, I don't think champions mean much, unless you're planning on breeding your dog. This is the way breeders can study pedigrees, and the qualities that lie in those lines. I think all dogs are equal, some are better examples of the breed, and some breeders are better than others, and I encourage people to support the better and ethical breeders.
