| ![]() The owners brought her back to the breeder because she didn't want her anymore so i adopted her and i just found out that it wasn't the other owner it was the breeder and its been done to her for a while. And on top of that she let her teeth get really bad but i'm getting them fixed. Shes with me now and im going to take good care of her. |

| ![]() can't someone turn her in for doing that to an animal? that just brings tears to my eyes. here i am wishing that mine could talk to me and they take away the only method of vocal speak they have. so very sad. isn't it sad to think that if more people knew about debarking there would be more of it? lazy people don't want to take the time to train them.

| ![]() That should be illegal to do that. If whatever they do to debark them has to be done, it should only be done because of something medically necesarry. How immoral!! Thank God she is with you now. A vet should have their license revoked for something like that!

| ![]() Prince does that sometime because of his collapsing trachea. It is very painful to listen to and watch him. I hope it's not that. ![]() ![]() ![]()

| ![]() Mine won't stop barking... anybody want to trade? ![]() This is an extremely old thread... Young puppies may not have learned how to bark and may start off with growling... Older dogs that don't bark or can't should be seen by a vet.... ![]()

| ![]() One of my males was 6 months old before he even tried to bark. Heard my teenage son singing in the shower one day and started howling out.

| ![]() I saw that it was an old thread too, but it was interesting to learn that some actually have their dogs "debarked" - very weird. Anyway, mine learned to bark - probably after her 2nd birthday. She is very quiet - and I like it that way. She now barks only if the doorbell rings. Consider yourself lucky if you have a quiet one too. I have another one though - who is not so quiet. |
