| I refuse to use merricks after one of my friends found one of those tags that are used on chickens in the canned food. I use Wellness and chicken soup, both which are pretty decent foods.

| Right now they are munching on RC TY28...I'll get out and around this wknd to see what I can find, but for now they are eating and having no problems and I havent found anything in their food yet...so for now its RC YT28. I filled their bowl last night and they just about ate the whole bowl by the time I left for work this morning. Please keep all the input coming.

| Toby is turning 16 next month and we feed him mostly chicken mixed with his Royal Canin food. Its a medicated can food for old dogs (he has no teeth so I have no choice). Honestly I wouldn't trust any food unless I make it or my vet gets it for me. I think you would have no problems feeding your girls chicken and rice mixed with a decent food. Obviously its a lot more money but your girls will love it. My family has had 3 dogs and all of them made 15 years old being fed people food. Good luck finding a safe and a good food they will eat. |

YT Addict | I must concur that when I bought Teddy a bag of Merricks food, I found hairs in the food as well. I also found some in the Cowboy Cook canned food. So, needless to say Merricks was 86-ed (crossed out) off the list.
