Tapeworms

I would definitely follow-up with another treatment. Otherwise, guess what appears in the next cycle? Have the vet prescribe treatment, not over the counter.

My vet said the tapeworms that dogs get will not affect us. Unless you eat a flea! LOL. They are not contagious unless the others eat the poo or a flea that has it.

EEWWW to eating fleas and poo, but still be careful to keep everything sanitary folks!

I would be very careful if you have toddlers or babies crawling or what not kn the house, because the infected pooch will sometimes get little segment things that look like grains of rice stuck to the area around there booty that could come off on carpet, floors, etc and if a toddler or baby sticks their hand into their mouth Voila tapeworm for baby...

Abby had them the day I brought her home. I had never had a dog get worms and didnt know much about them. So of course I was scared to death, especially since the vet was closed b/c it was 11 o clock at night when i noticed.

She got 2 pills. one when we were at the vet and the next one to give her in 2 weeks.
