| We just got bad news from the vet Maggie just had her vet appointment where they did an x-ray on her leg. This is the first one since she broke it...she had one the night of the accident but this is the first one since then. well, the vet walks in and tells me how great maggie is, how she is a wonderful patient. then he kinda got sad and told me that he is not happy with her x-ray. he feels she needs surgery. He started to tell me what he thought and then i asked him to let me see the x-rays. he gladly brought them in for me and sure enough, her bones are not fusing right. the bottom one is trying to fuse with the top one. BAD news. so, we will call in the morning to schedule an appointment with a specialist. I am super sad about this. my heart breaks for the little sweetie. we could sure use your prayers at this time...

| Sorry to hear that Maggie needs to have surgery. Did they already do one surgery or did they just set it and hope it would heal ok? I feel bad she has to go through that. |

| he said something about putting a plate in her leg. that worries me. is this something that will be removed once the bones are fused right? or does the plate always stay there??? i guess i should have asked the vet some more questions LOL i will be sure and take a list of questions with me when i go see the specialist
