I am so sorry to hear about Maggie's leg. Poor Maggie, poor Mommy. Winston, Maggie and I are sending both of you lots and lots of well wishes and big hugs. Keep us posted.

Oh my word! Poor Maggie. As if she hasn't had enough trouble with that ol leg. Here's good wishes for her.

We had a dog that had to get a plate in her front leg. It didn't bother her at all. You could feel the screws through the skin but she couldn't. If it starts bother Maggie you may have to have the plate removed but most of the time you don't and there isn't any problem.

Any updates...did you contact the other vet? Hoping that all goes well for Maggie...I will most certainly keep her in my thoughts and prayers.

Usually they will remove the pin- but sometimes it stays. The pin will help give the bone stability so it can heal. Prayers are coming your way!! Hopefully this will fix her little leg once and for all.

I'm so sorry Maggie has to go through surgery......I'm sure she'll be fine.......and you will too.....I don't know who it's harder on them or us

Aw Mandi, just found this thread. I'm so sorry you and little Maggie have to endure this nasty bump in the road. Poor little doll!
