| Mine was a whole lot more expensive, but I don't care. I know they are going to do the best job possible, and treat my baby 100 percent like their own so I didn't care. But yes, I think that might be high because I know mine was like ASTRONOMICAL. But if you feel comfortable with your vet, you might just want to stick with it! Good luck to you and Bandit...you'll both be fine!

| Ellie had oral surgery earlier this year and the charges went something like this. This is taken from the estimate and isn't our actual bill. Preop bloodwork was $94, iv catheter and fluids $47, canine dental prophylaxis $105 (which included 45 minutes of isoflourine), it was $38 for every additional 15 minutes spent under anesthesia, simple extractions $45-$65 each (these were harder because they were adult teeth). We go to a really expensive vet. With a heartworm test, Ellie's bill came to over $600. It sounds like you're getting a deal. I am just wondering is your vet not going to do an iv catheter? I am not sure if they need it during neutering but I would never allow Ellie to be put under without one.

| My vet runs about 117$ for neutering and that's with the injections, and even the liver test before they go under. Quote:

| Highest estimate I got was for $85, but that did NOT count any tooth extractions.

| thats cheap if you ask me. I paid $400 for my Rocky to get neutered. It cost about $50 extra because they made the cut with a laser which allows a faster healing time |

| We paid about 150.00-=160.00 or so, but we also had the additional blood work and stuff done too that was optional. They also had baby teeth pulled that needed to come out. Hallee and Gracie both looked pretty bad post surgery when we picked them up and continued to look so the rest of the night. They both just layed on our laps all night. The next morning they were bouncing around like normal, like nothing had ever happened to them. The bounced back really fast, I thought.
