Ellie had oral surgery earlier this year and the charges went something like this. This is taken from the estimate and isn't our actual bill. Preop bloodwork was $94, iv catheter and fluids $47, canine dental prophylaxis $105 (which included 45 minutes of isoflourine), it was $38 for every additional 15 minutes spent under anesthesia, simple extractions $45-$65 each (these were harder because they were adult teeth). We go to a really expensive vet. With a heartworm test, Ellie's bill came to over $600. It sounds like you're getting a deal. I am just wondering is your vet not going to do an iv catheter? I am not sure if they need it during neutering but I would never allow Ellie to be put under without one.
