| I would prefer Gracie and Hallee to be a little bit on the bigger side. They both weigh between 4 and 4 1/2 lbs. We are always worrying about them because they are so small.

| I love the bigger Yorkies. They look so fluffy and healthy! I had no idea there were larger Yorkies until I got here. I would love a teapot Lucy is 6 months and 3.5 lbs. I would love for her to get a bit bigger so hopefully she will have a growth spurt! I'm very lucky that she is healthy (and praying she stays that way).

| I have to tell you the story about my Wynstn, His Dad weighs 3lbs and his mother weighs 6lbs. My "Wynni" weighs, at 2 years old 12lbs! I thought he would be small so I bought all of this small stuff for him. We love him so much and yes we can play rough with him, he loves that. His favorite thing to do is playing with a soccer ball all over the back yard then jumping in his pool to cool off then back to the ball. I don't think a smaller dog would be able to push the ball all over the back yard like he does. My other Yorkie is 14 yrs old and he weighs about 8lbs. I do want to some day get me a little girl so I can dress her up! All Yorkies, not matter what size are great, they are just like people come in all shapes and sizes.

| My yorkie's a fat pig. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I don't feed him much (less than 1/4 cup 2-3 times a day or high quality dog food), and I've just added a morning and evening walk to his regular bathroom outings. He's probably around 9 lbs. right now...2 lbs. overweight...but he's really showing it. I'm going to be embarrassed to take him in for his shots next month if I can't get his weight down, because I know the vet will comment. She always does. Last time I had to bite my tongue, because she (the vet) isn't exactly svelte herself (neither am I...) Would it be rude to say "helloooo? pot/kettle!" So...we're both on diets now. (I'm going on vacation the end of October, and I would like to drop 10-15 lbs before then, so it will be good for both of us.) |

| He's around seven years-old. I adopted him through a rescue 2 years ago. He was rescued from a puppy mill when he was deemed unsuitable to continue breeding, and he was going to be put down (as he lived the first 5 years of his life in a cage and had little socialiazation). He's doing wonderfully in all areas, but damn...he loves his kibble. He's circling his empty bowl right now...he's not liking this diet thing at all! He's definitely a stocky guy. Even at his correct weight he's muscular and solid--nothing delicate about him! But he definitely needs to drop a couple of pounds. |
