| post Lily is a lovely, caring breeder and meant no harm. I think you are so frustrated right now and need idea's. This is a time consuming obligationn and there are no quick fixes. He will be the same way or worse in 3 months without time and patience..good luck |

| posting Mickey's owner...just read your last posts..either respect the members of the forum or move on..no one has said anything nasty to you and do not deserve your anger. You have to remember you are posting to a forum of people who adore Yorkies and your posts are upsetting. Last edited by YorkieRose; 06-14-2005 at 04:22 PM. |

| you seem angry at the world...but on the topic of the thread.. it just takes time..bentley is 4 months and i've had him for almost 2 months..and we are very consistant with taking him outside..and he's still not catching on very well..but i knew from the beginning that this was going to take time and lots of effort!! my boyfriend and i are both 19 and are full time students.. we also have jobs on top of school..but we always find time for bentley!! we work around each other schedules so someone is always home with him..and you put him up when you go out at night? that's a LONG time for a puppy to be in a crate alone..just like everyone else said..why dont you do stuff that you can take him to. We plan things we can do with the dog..or at least take him with us! dont think i'm like out to get you or anything..i'm just posting my opinion

| My suggestion is to control your pup's drinking. You can put water down in the morning, afternoon and evening. Then put your pup on the pee pad or take it out with in 15 mins of drinking. Mya gets put on her pee pad first thing in the morning. She pees and poops. Also some dogs like Mya will not use a pee pad if it is dirty. Since you are not there to change the pad each time a drinking schedule might work out for you. I agree with the others that these lil guys need lots of attention. Maybe a family member can help you out with a schedule for the dog. I know myself when I get lazy am having a bad day or what ever that it throws Mya off and she may do something to me off my ass.........lol I realize it is my fault, not hers. I got Mya on April 26th. The day before I saw two yorkies at a pet store. Those same Yorkies are still there!! It brought tears to my eyes to know they have been there so long (from being over priced). I can imagine that it would be very difficult to train those puppies now. You have to make sure the scent is gone from the place where your puppy is going. Sometimes cleaner does not do this. Perfume works for us. Sometimes with dogs you can't let them out of your sight until they are trained. I do hope your family or friends help you out. There is hope !!!!
