| Frontline for fleas?? How much should I use?? Hi everyone!!! Well today, I purchased some Frontline, since Kobe has been itching recently and my mother warned me to only put like 4-5 drops on him. Is that enough or should I put more??? Can I save the unused portion??? |

| Buy the tube that is appropriate for his weight and put the whole tube on him. Otherwise you may not be giving enough to properly protect him from fleas. If you have just put a couple drops on him today, go ahead and finish putting the rest of the tube on him...however, if it has been a while do not use the leftovers.

| The smallest tube is for dogs up to 22lbs, I believe. That is entirely to much for one yorkie, IMO. I use 1/2 a tube between my two (4 and 5 lbs), and that's still probably to much but better than an entirely tube.

| frontline I definately use the whole tube-but my Yorkie is 10 lbs. I do not use it as often as it calls for. Probably only once every 2-3 months and my dogs never have a flea. However I have to be careful around here we have a lot of ticks with lyme disease. One of my dogs got it even though they get the lyme shot-go figure! |

| That's why I'm perplexed because I did not get the meds from my vet...while shopping for doggy treats at my fav. pet store, the owner (who's really nice) asked about my dog, then sugg. that I should buy some, which I did. The label says up to 22lbs, but Kobe is only 2 1/2 lbs. I guess I should only buy these types of things from my vet, huh??? |

| Call your vet is the best advise here. We use it and put the whole tue on, but our babies are 4-5 pounds and Lexie is...well we won't discuss that right now...we are on day 57!!!

| frontline I have been using the entire tube on Zoey since she was 4 months old and she was only 2 1/2 pounds then. I use a full tube on her and a full tube on Boston. One is 4 pounds, one is 5. |

| Well, I called my Vet and he told me that I could of used the whole tube, but that I can't now because it's no good anymore...and he instructed me to only buy the meds from him or another vet to make sure that everything is good and that I'm getting the right info! Shame on me huh?? LOL But thanks for allll the responses! |
