I definately use the whole tube-but my Yorkie is 10 lbs. I do not use it as often as it calls for. Probably only once every 2-3 months and my dogs never have a flea. However I have to be careful around here we have a lot of ticks with lyme disease. One of my dogs got it even though they get the lyme shot-go figure!
