| Ugh...I've literally called 20+ vets and NO ONE has an opening... I just made an appointment for him tomorrow at 2:40 in Minnesota...it's the best I could do. I want to thank you all for (once again) being there to ask a question to and always getting GREAT answers. I really do appreciate it.

I just have to keep telling myself, I can always be worse. Something could have happened to him. So I'm NOT complaining...

| I had a cat that had ringworm. My husband and I got a few of them on our arms and legs (because the cat would rub himself on our legs). My husband also got one on his face. The vet gave us ointment for the cat and also ointment for us. It was gone in no time!!

| It is ringworm, and it was probably there for a while. Missy had ringworm. We noticed a while ago, probably 2 months ago, that she kept nibbling at her arm, so we tried checking whats going there, and we noticed a little tiny scab. We brought her to the Vet (old vet) and we couldn't really find it anymore because it was so small, so we gave up on showing him and he just said that it is most likely a part where she likes biting. Give it 3 more weeks, it got bigger and she started losing hair in that area. It started looking crusty and everything and it was definitely a fungal infection. The vet said it goes away by itself, but using a cream well get rid of it quicker. Also, me and my sister caught it after a week or so, so don't touch it, or if you do... wash your hands immediately. Also, wash any blankets sheets that he has been around.... wash your floors and just basically do a big clean up in the house. It's not harmful, but it's definitely contagious and annoying for the little one and yourself! Hope he heals fast |

| Hey all, Just wanted to let you all know for future reference what I have found out. I took Kobi to the vet back home when we got there, and he said it was "just a spot". I don't know vet things or whatever, but he put on some weird glasses and sort of scraped around and said, it could be like a birthmark type thing or he may have bumped his head or something. Well, let's just say I'm SLIGHTLY skeptical...so I thought, yeah, right. But here we are a week later, and the hair is just growing out, no one has ringworm so I'm sure it's not that, and I think the hair is just a darker color...really weird, but it makes me happy!

| This is what we thought Widget had....ringworm....and before we could get into the vet, did some online checking and found out that because its a fungus....several of the athletes foot treatments will work.....we used Desenex and it was completely gone in 2 days...... and just be sure to wash your hands after handling your furbaby. |
