| Am I causing it? So about 5 days ago I started integrating Innova with her RC to slowly take her off RC (causes her to itch). When I went to the store to buy it, they gave me sample bags instead to try on her. So I've been feeding her stuff from the sample bag (she's so small she hasn't even finished one tiny bag in 5 days). Yesterday she threw up a little and I couldn't figure it out. Then I noticed on the bag it says "DOG FOOD". It's not puppy formula. Could that have caused her to vomit yesterday? Would that make her sick? She's been active, and pooping well and eating well.

| Wow! I'm sorry that you haven't gotten a response to this until now. I hope your little one is doing better. I've learned to slowly introduce a new food to the yorkie's delicate digestive system. Sounds like the transition needs to start with even smaller amounts of the new dog food. Would there happen to be an expiration date on the samples? Please do a search for "Innova", "vomit" and maybe even one for "adult food" for previous discussions. Lots of smart people have shared their knowledge. Don't know how old your yorkie is, but that may be something to consider as well. Just some thoughts.... Good luck! |

| Thanks for the response. It turns out it was a combination of food switching and her plastic crate bowls. I bought stainless steel and went slower with the food. She's doing great!
