I've learned to slowly introduce a new food to the yorkie's delicate digestive system.
Sounds like the transition needs to start with even smaller amounts of the new dog food. Would there happen to be an expiration date on the samples?
Please do a search for "Innova", "vomit" and maybe even one for "adult food" for previous discussions. Lots of smart people have shared their knowledge.
Don't know how old your yorkie is, but that may be something to consider as well.
