| black ear leathers, w no hair on the ear hi anyone seen this? the ears have lost the hair and the leathers on both sides are black and tarry looking, tho the inner ear is clean, what can i do to fix this? anyone know? is it a fungus of some sort? what? jim |

| Sounds like leather ear to me -- google leather ear to find out how to treat it. |

| this is called leather ear and can become a chronic problem if it's not handled properly. Do a search on the main YT site on leather ear for more information. A couple of years ago, one of the really knowledgeable breeders posted a remedy on how to clear this up. Good luck.
