| Giardia hi all my neighbours dog has been diagnosed with giardia any advice on the subject is welcomed by the way my dogs have zero contact with this dog hes not friendly and they do not go onto the garden either,i heard its a parasite how is it caught is it from dirty conditions?? many thanks |

| It's evil! My Bella's had it for 3 weeks (or more). We went through 3 sets of liquid medicine (5 days each) and just started some pills and it's finally clearing up. Keeping your dog away from the contaminated feces should do the trick.

| Also if you are ever hiking in the woods with your dogs-NEVER- let them drink from streams or other natural water sources. They can get it from those as well. They are a protist and NASTY! |
