Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | ![]() If the smell is this bad, yeast and seborrhea needs to be considered - but so do many other things. I'd see a Vet Dermatologist - it may not be cheap, but it will solve your dogs' problems. Any other symptoms? Fur loss? Etc?

| ![]() Yes, we have been to see a dermatologist she done lots of tests including a skin biopsy which cost over £1,000, all they said was she has an "allergy" but couldny say what she was allergic to. She has been tested for thyroid, cushings, yeast, mite, fleas and many other things. She has had many types of antibiotics, steriods, thyroxine and antihistamine. She isnt on anything at the moment except her bath twice a week. I have tried the various shampoos people on here suggested. She has hypo allergic dried dog food.

Donating YT 30K Club Member | ![]() Sorry to hear your still having skin issues. Cali had to go on a daily medicine to stop hers. It's called Atopica but it is the only thing other than steroids that helped.
