| Loosing hair on the top of nose, dry skin or? My yorkie has a thin band of hair missing on the top of her muzzle, like a thin little band that may be widening each day. It seems to run just parallel and next to her black nose. I'm worried that it's gonna keep growing. Has anyone had any similar experiences with their Yorkie? It just looks like dry skin that lost the hair. Thanks, Cyndi |

However, I have a Yorkie that will get that from allergies which is more likely the cause and likely a food allergy. I changed the food to a hypoallergenic one and it seems to agree with her. I switched from Royal Canin to Natural Balance Fish and Potato. The hair that was missing has now grown back. | |

| Here's a couple of picts–I hope She's turned 2 years old in March. She's due for her next vet visit, so I'll ask the vet too, I really appreciate your advice...It's good to hear that the hair grew back after changing I'm trying to attach to pictures to display...I've never posted a picture to this site before, so I hope it works. You can kind of see the spot on her muzzle on the pict I have here at home, I'll have to see if this works. |
