| I decided to try the leo's cookies today. OMG Aurora loves them. She is not allowed in the kicthen and she usually minds, but not when I started making these. She was either in the kitchen or in the doorway sniffing the air. I let her try the batter and she was begging for more. once the first batch cooled, my ex boyfriend gave her one. I never seen her eat a treat so fast. She was even sniffing the ground looking for any crumbs and licking the ground. With how she loves these, I can't wait to try other recipes. I went to walmart to get the baby food, I was figuring out how many jars I would need. The lady stocking the selves was like what kind of recipe are you making with baby food? I explain its for my dog, since its best for her esp with all the recalls. She thought it was rather cool.

| lol.. sorry!! hmmm.... ok so let's skip the kibble.. can you give her baby carrots to chew on?? They do the same job! or celery.... frozen chicken broth cubes (layla tends to "chew" those instead of licking them) How big is she?? how much are you feeding? Layla is 5.5 (she is heavier in the summer than the winter... ) so she gets about... 1/4 c. breakfast.. and 1/4 c. dinner. maybe a little less.. and usually gets a snack of cottage cheese and apple sauce in there somewhere... i found out she only needed to eat twice a day ( i was feeding her 3 times) by lettin gher tell me when she was hungry (by leaving kibble out). so make sure she needs to eat and isnt' just getting it because... how much exercise does she get?? I know it is hard in the summer because it is SO hot.. but i try and get her to play hard for at least 30 min a day. and come winter we do hour walks at night... anyways... get back ot me on that stuff.... i'll try and think of other things tell your bf the high protien is the BEST thing you can be doing for her.. it giver her the energy she needs... if you were feeding all carbs.. i'd be saying THAT would be what is making her gain weight. |

| lexi is now 10 1/2 lbs and still gaining it seems... i give her cerelry and carrots for snacks .. she loves them... i feed her 1/4 cup in the morning before i leave and the same in the evening.. and when i eat, i give her the celery or carots or string beans that she can crunch on.. her chest is huge, like a stocky male... i walk her , we run on the beach, etc. but remember shes home alone all day and sleeps.

| I'm making the "Leo's Cookies" today! I can't wait! I just mixed up the dough, but am waiting for something else to be done in the oven so I can put them in! I can't wait to see how they turn out and how Emma and Milli like them!

I think it should work with rice flour! You could always add a little more flour if it seemed too wet. The trick is really LEAVING them in the oven until it's cool. I had a hard time being patient, so I had to reheat the oven once because they weren't hard enough!

| I made some more of the leo's cookies while I was at my mom's house. Her yorkies LOVED them. We never seen penelope wag her tag so fast. My mom laughed and said she thought she was going to leave the ground with her tail going so fast. Penelope is a big time mommy's girl and my mom was like wow she is more excited to see you now than she ever is for me. I left a bag of the treats there so that, penelope can have some while I am gone. Since I noticed some of the other recipes had either banana or sweet potatoes, I decided to try replacing the carrot baby food for those. Penelope loved the banana kind. She liked the sweet potatoe as well but not as much as the banana. Leo's cookies are definately worth making!!!!!!
