| I got my case today too! And 2 dry food samples....they attacked the little bags but when I put some out, they turned up their noses! Little Sh!ts So I may get up the courage to try the wet food...but I gotta say I am so scared of EVERYTHING, I just don't know what to feed? I'm experimenting so much here!

| It's good that they sent you samples but do you guys know that this food has bones in their food?? They just soften them by cooking them. it says it on their website "The cooking process softens those recipes with bones - making them edible, safe, wholesome and highly digestible." There is no way I would ever give my yorkies any food with bones in there, soft or not. I would definitely reconsider it ladies, not a good choice to give small dogs. Here is a piece from a vet on a dog health website, and his thoughts on cooked bones Are bones dangerous? That question is uppermost in many people?s mind. "The answer is ?yes, if they are cooked. Dogs are not designed to deal with cooked bones. Cooked bones are harder, more brittle and more splintery than raw bones. They are the ones most likely to be caught in the mouth, to pierce the intestines, to set like concrete in the large bowel, or stick like fish hooks into the rectum. All those events are bad news for dogs. The long and the short of it is?Don't feed cooked bones. They are unnatural and a danger to dogs." Just thought you guys should know.

Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | i gave that one to morgan and she loved it. at first i wasn't going to but then i opened up the can to check it out. it was a whole drumstick or two. i was able to smush them with a a spoon to break them up. they didn't splinter or chard off like a hard bone. they are really soft for a bone. there was less crunching going on with the bone then with her kibble. these types of bones are ok to feed because of the way they are prepared. The cooked bones in the bold print that was stated by vainchick are probably bones that are prepared in meals that we eat. Those bones are not ok because they are still hard as a rock and they do splinter. They are not cooked long enough to soften up. open up the can and check them out for yourself. smash up the bones, you'll be suprised how soft they are.

| I also received a case of food and 2 sample bags about a week after I emailed Evangers. This food looks and smells great! My dogs are in heaven! I also emailed a couple of other companies but have not received anything from them. Kalina82....how much of the apple cider vinegar do you give them? I have heard about it being good for the tear stains but nobody ever said how much. I think I would like to try it.

Wingaling has bones in it too since it is whole chicken wings. They way it is cooked makes it safe. You can mush the bone with your finger. We tried the Evangers samples but the 100% meat ones gave Loki bad diarrhea. Sammy was fine. Loki just has a sensitive tummy.

Hey girl! Not only are the bones soft enough to smoosh (that's what I do), but the meat is so tender, it comes right off the bones! So, for those who don't want to feed the bones, you can take them right out with no problem. Sometimes if the bones are too big, I'll take them and throw them out. Sometimes I smoosh them up. It all depends how I feel! LOL

| I just got the sample. I can't believe the send the whole 12 cans for trial. I tried the chicken drummets and I think they are preety soft. Definitely looks better than merrick wingaling. The price is much cheaper too. |

No Longer a Member | I got my samples yesterday! Chloe wouldn't touch it though... (I opened a beef stew or something) I swear she loathes all food equally. If I could simply feed her freeze dried liver and nothing else, my troubles would be over! |

Try the drumettes or chicken casserole. Those are Baby's FAVES. She's not crazy at all with the beef ones. Just the two I metioned above! Spoiled brat! LOLOL
