| since seeing that video on IAMS doing the animal testing (which about made me sick to my stomach) I switched my zoo over to Diamond Pet Foods. Anyone have good stuff to say about them? No one close to my area sells Chicken Soup, nor do I want to pay shipping to start feeding my zoo. |

| I think it was an excellent article. ANd gives you much to think about. But I feed the same foods. "If it works why fix it?" Just my moto. If its broken Ill fix it then. Just me. If I listened to every opinion or break down of every food item bought from the grocery store, almost all our food human and canine would have to be homegrown in our backyard organically. For me that is just not realistic. |

You can get a 15 pound bag of Canidae for 16.00 dollars or a 5 pound bag of Canidae for 10.00 dollars online here: http://www.onlynaturalpet.com/produc...click=124&mf=2 If you can find a pet store to buy it from it's even cheaper and is WONDERFUL food for your dogs! Both of mine eat Canidae and I am very picky about what they eat. It is grain free, has pro-biotics, a good level of protein, and omega oils in it and is rated extremely high on any "good" dog food list. | |

| Sorry I just want to clarify this. It's not the "meal" part that is bad - meal is just dehydrated. It's the "meat" part as opposed to chicken, lamb, etc. "Chicken Meal" is great, "Meat Meal" is BAD. Unspecified animal protein could be anything.

| It is really a difficult job to find a good grade of dog food. I have tried several brands. I threw away $60.00, worth of dog food recently. My dogs threw up and could not adjust even with me adding a small amount to their regular food. I am now on my 4th bag of Maxximum Puppy Recipe, all natural. Chicken, Rice & Lamb, free of animal by-products, artifical colors, flavors and preservatives. My dog's hair has gotten really shiny since I switched to this brand. Guess where you buy it? Wal-mart ! I have spent a fortune at Petsmart just to be disappointed. I now, have a product I will stick with. It satisfies my babies. I free feed, they do not overeat. They have a firm stool. I won't be switching anytime soon! Check out the ingredients for yourself.
