Layla LOVES carrots.. and she gets one every day (excellent source of fibre) she has tried peppers but hates them... she loves apples and will "share" one with me occassionally... i've tried to get her to try banana but she doesn't like the way they feel in her mouth. She like celery but i hate the smell of celery so she doesn't get it often. i think all veggies are ok except mushrooms and onions.

| Bella loves sweet potatoes. I bake one and feed it to her throughout the week. She also gets carrots, peas, etc. I steam them until tender.

apples and carrots Carrots are a go but if apples are in site their tail go a hundred miles an hour. If we could produce energy with that, we would not need our electric company!

how much How much of each would everyone recommend giving to puppies? My puppy is 4 months old and weights almost 6 lbs. I want to give him the recommended amount. I started with baby carrots but I think I gave him too much. I gave him 3 baby carrots and he didn't digest all of it because he had pieces of carrots in his poop. What's the recommended amount? Let's say on every other day basis. He has become a picky eater and won't eat his dog food. He likes baby carrots, brocolli, apples, and I'm going to start giving him cauliflower. What do you guys think? Let me know. Thanks, Alex

Hootie and Hobbs like carrots, broccoli, spinach, and green beans. I would give a 4 month old 6lb yorkie 1-2 baby carrots a day...no more than that. Cut the carrots up in little pieces and give them as treats.
